About the Gallery
Art at the Geode is a fine art gallery with a renaissance personality— complicated and evolving. Don’t expect a traditional gallery experience when stepping through our doors, as you could easily spend hours peeling back every layer.
Art at the Geode was once a studio dedicated to bronze sculptures, formerly known as Eichinger Sculpture Studio Gallery, but recently expanded to include amorphous polymers, paintings, and glass sculpture. The gallery opened in 2019, but never had the chance to celebrate its grand opening due to the COVID shutdown. It sits inside The Geode building, a creative nest for artists and innovators, on Division Street in the Southeast neighborhood of Portland, Oregon.
Founder and sculptor, Martin Eichinger, is inspired by science, technology, and light, and has curated the gallery’s collection to represent these elements— gravitating towards fine art reflecting translucency, transparency, and luminosity.
